Why Cyber Security Demands Immediate Action

Before going into details on how to implement solutions to cyber security to protect your organization’s operations, it is essential to first understand the fundamentals behind effective solutions for cyber security.

Understanding Cyber Security Solutions

Solutions for cyber security refer to a combination of tools, policies, and procedures designed to protect digital infrastructure from internal and external threats. These strategic solutions to cyber security aim to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and syst?ems. By integrating reliable cyber security solutions into their operations, businesses can ?operate more securely in the digital age, scale with confidence, and handle data and competition more effectively.

The Urgency for Businesses of All Sizes

These days, no matter the size, almost every business relies on digital systems to run smoothly—whether it’s managing sales, communicating with customers, or storing critical data. But with this growing dependence on technology comes gre?ater exposure to cyber threats, making the adoption of solutions for cyber security an urgent necessity.

A cracked digital padlock overlaying lines of code and network structures, representing a data breach, system vulnerability, or failure in cyber security defenses.

The scale and severity of cyber attacks have intensified in recent years, turning into a daily threat for businesses across all industries. Microsoft’s Digital Defense Report (July 2023–July 2024) revealed that its customers face over 600 million cyber attacks every day—launched not only by individual criminals but also by nation-state actors. Adding to the concern, retail and cloud computing giant Amazon revealed that it now faces nearly 1 billion cyber threats acr??oss its platforms daily—a dramatic surge from 100 million to 750 million threats per day in just six to seven months, highlighting the need for comprehensive solutions for cyber security capable of managing evolving risks.

Core Solutions for Cyber Security Every Business Should Implement

Cyber attacks can lead to dangerous and unfortunate situations, but the good news is that protecting your business doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Today’s solutions for cyber security are designed to be both scalable and accessible, whether you’re a startup with limited resources or a large enterprise managing a complex infrastructure. While foundational steps—such as building internal awareness, offering training programs, and encouraging secure behavior—are essential, they’re only part of the equation.

To ensure comprehensive protection, businesses must also implement advanced cyber security solutions that integr??ate both strategy and technology. These measures are vital to protecting digital systems, sensitive data, and overall operations from an ever-evolving range of cyber threats. Below are key areas and specialized solutions that e??very organization should consider as part of a modern cyber security framework.

Firewalls

As one of the most fundamental solutions for cyber security, firewalls act as the first barrier between internal systems and external threats. They regulate incoming and outgoing traffic using defined security rules, he??lping prevent unauthorized access, malware intrusions, and data breaches. Firewalls come in various forms, including hardware, software, software-as-a-service (SaaS), and cloud-based solutio?ns.

A digital shield filled with code and a keyhole icon, positioned next to the word “Firewall, symbolizing network protection and the role of firewalls in cyber security solutions.

Several types of firewalls address d??ifferent protection needs:

  • Proxy Firewall: Acts as an intermediary, filtering requests between users and the internet.
  • Web Application Firewall (WAF): Offers deeper packet inspection, blocking malicious content and unauthorized access to web-based applications.
  • Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW): Combines traditional firewall capabilities with features like intrusion prevention, application control, and unified security policies—simplifying management across complex environments.
  • AI-Powered Firewall: Leverages machine learning to detect anomalies in real time, adapt to evolving threats, and automate policy enforcement.

Firewalls not only protect networks but also help organizations meet compliance standards required by many regulatory frameworks—especially when managing sensitive data. As a core component of comprehensive solutions for cyber security, th??e right firewall enhances protection and reduces the risk of costly penalties. Choosing an effective solution involves evaluating security needs, performance, scalability, and ease of management. To ensure optimal integration with broader security systems, businesses should assess their specific requirements and consult IT professionals for tailored recommendations.

Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)

As cyber attacks become more complex, Endpoint Detection and Resp?onse? (EDR) has emerged as one of the most crucial solutions for cyber security, especially in environments where traditional antivirus tools fall short. Unlike standard antivirus software, EDR provides continuous, real-time monitoring of endpoints—such as laptops, mobile devices, virtual machines, and IoT devices—detecting abnormal behavior that may indicate hidden or sophisticated threats.

A magnifying glass zooms in on the words “ENDPOINT SECURITYagainst a digital blue background, symbolizing the scrutiny and protection of devices connected to a network as part of cyber security solutions.

These cyber security solutions play a central role in identifying and containing malicious activities before they spread across networks. EDR systems automatically log and analyz??e endpoint data, using behavioral analytics to flag suspicious activity, from ransomware to unauthorize??d access attempts. Upon detection, EDR can isolate affected devices, block harmful processes, and alert security teams with detailed forensic information for investigation and remediation.

EDR has become especially vital in the era of hyb?rid and remote work, where employees access corporate networks from various unsecured environments, making endpoin??t visibility more important than ever.

What sets EDR apart is its focus on early detection, pro?active response, and deep investigation capabilities. Instead of reacting after damage is done, organizations can use EDR to contain incidents quickly, analyze root causes, and adapt their defenses. As threat actors b??ecome more sophisticated, EDR isn’t just a tool—it’s an essential part of any resilient cyber security strategy.

Cloud Security

Cloud security refers to the tools, policies, and procedures designed to safeguard data, applications, and infrastructure hosted in cloud environments. As part of modern solutions for cyber security, it helps prevent unauthorize??d access, data leaks, misconfigurations, and service disruptions—ensuring digital assets remain secure across hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

A key feature of cloud security is the shared responsibility model, where both Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and customers share duties for protecting systems. CSPs typically secure the underlying infrastructure, while customers must manage data classification, access control, and user authentication. Clearly understanding this division is e??ssential to avoid blind spots that cybercriminals could exploit.

A digital rendering of the Earth overlaid with cloud icons, representing global cloud computing and cloud security solutions used to protect data across interconnected networks.

Cloud environments offer flexibility, ?but they also increase the attack surface. Many organizations, in their rush to adopt cloud services, neglect core security protocols—leaving gaps in access control, encryption, or monitoring. These oversights make cloud platforms attractive to attackers seeking easy access to valuable data.

Strong cloud security frameworks can significantly reduce risk. By integrating threat detection, identity management, and encryption into a broader cyber security solution??, organizations can improve resilience, support compliance, and build customer confidence. Though no system is invulnerable, well-planned cloud security makes successful attacks much harder to execute and ?far less damaging.

DLP – A Critical Layer in Solutions for Cyber Security

Also serving as a crucial part in any business’s cyber security preservation strategies, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) stands out as one of the vital cyber security solutions, by not only safeguards sensitive information but also plays a key role in ens?uring operational continuity and sustaining long-term trust.

What is Data Loss Prevention (DLP)?

Data Loss Prevention (DLP) refers to a comprehensive set of strategies, technologies, and policies designed to prevent the unauthorized access, transmission, or misuse of sensitive information. As a vital component of solutions for cyber security, DLP solutions work by monitoring ??data in motion (such as emails or network traffic), data at rest (stored files and ??databases), and data in use (being accessed or manipulated by users) to detect and prevent potential breaches.

A futuristic data center corridor illuminated in blue light, with binary code flowing through the scene, symbolizing digital data transmission and cyber security infrastructure.

Why DLP Is Essential in a Modern Cyber Security Strategy

In a digital world where sensitive information flows constantly across networks, devices, and cloud platforms, DLP has become a crucial safeguard amongst the solutio?ns for cyber security. Rather than being a single tool, DLP encompasses a proactive approach that combines policies, user behavior analysis, and security technologies to help ensure that confidential data stays where it belongs.

Modern cyber threats are increasingly sophisticated, often targeting weak links such as employee negligence, poorly secured endpoints, or misconfigured cloud services. DLP helps organizations reduce these risks by?? integrating seamlessly broader solutions for cyber security, applying contextual awareness to how data is accessed, shared, and stored. For example, it can prevent employees from emailing sensitive files externally, up??loading restricted content to unauthorized apps, or printing confidential documents without approval.

Key Benefits of Using DLP Solutions

What makes DLP solutions so essential that 72% of org?anizations now use two or more as part of thei??r data protection strategies?

First and foremost, DLP solutions help organizations safeguard sensitive information from insider threats—both intentional and accidental. By continuously classi??fying and monitoring critical dat??a, DLP tools can detect unusual activities and prevent unauthorized access or transfers. This proactive monitoring helps stop data leaks before they escalate into serious breaches.

Second, in industries where data privacy is strictly governed—such as healthcare and finance—tools like DLP play a key role in helping companies meet legal requirements like HIPAA, GDPR, and GLBA. While they may not fulfill every aspect of?? compliance on their own, DLP solutions significantly reduce the risk of regulatory violations and the financial penalties th??at follow.

Third, these tools offer greater visibility into the location, flow, and use of sensitive data. This empowers organizations to assign appropriate confidentiality levels, set response protocols for security ev??ents, and better understand potential vulnerabilities.

Lastly, DLP systems help control the movement of data by verifying user permissions before allowing?? data to be copied, shared, or transmitted. When integrated with Identity and Access Management (IAM?) systems, DLP becomes even more powerful—ensuring only authenticated and authorized users can access or interact with sensitive information.

Taken together, these benefits demonstrate why DLP is not just a technical tool, but a vit?al part of a comprehensive data protection strategy.

How DLP Works

So how exactly does a DLP system work? Understanding how DLP operates is key to recognizing its value in a comprehensive cyber security strategy. By examining its core components and processes, we can see how DLP actively identifies, monitors, and protects sensitive data across various environments.A circular infographic illustrating the five key steps of a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) system’s workflow.

    (1) Classifying data

The foundation of any effective DLP strategy begins with classifying all data within the organization. This involves labeling each data asset—whether it’s public, internal, or sensitive—according to its level of confidentiality. This step can be manual or automated, depending on the capabilities of the DLP solution, and requires well-defined classification policies to ensure consistency and accuracy.

    (2) Determining confidentiality levels

Following classification, data is assigned specific confidentiality labels. These marker??s help security teams tailor protections according to the sensitivity of each data type. Large organizations may use hundreds or even thousands of these labels to match the complexity of their data environments.

    (3) Developing security rules

With classification and labeling in place, security teams config??ure the DLP system to respond appropriately to risks. Policies are created to govern actions such as blocking data transfers, alerting administrators, or revoking access when sensitive information is mishandled or misdirected.

    (4) Monitoring and Investigating

Once policies are activated, the DLP system continuously monitors data flows, scanning for policy violations or unusual behavior. If a threat is detected, the system enforces the pre-set rules and alerts security personnel, who then assess the situation and determine whether furth??er action ?is needed.

    (5) Classifying new data

As new data is generated or introduced into the system, the cycle begins anew. Effective DLP i?s n??ot a one-time setup but an ongoing process—one that requires regular updates, policy adjustments, and vigilance to adapt to evolving threats and business needs.

This continuity?? is essential for maintaining a resilient and secure data ?environment.

Tailoring DLP Strategy to Your Business Size

When it comes to DLP, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. The effectiveness of a DLP strategy depends heavily on the size, structure, and specific needs of your organization. Whether it is a startup company or a large enterprise,?? tailoring your DLP implementation ensures optimal protection without unnecessary complexity or cost.

A digital globe surrounded by floating data visualizations and analytics charts, symbolizing global cyber infrastructure, data connectivity, and real-time digital information flow in a secure networked environment.

Practical Solutions for Cyber Security in Startups

Starting your own business and building processes from the ground up can feel like a dream come true—offering independence, flexibility, and the chance to shape your vision. However, the startup journey comes with its fair share of challenges. Limited staff, tight budgets, and a lack of formal infrastructure make startups vulnerable to data breaches. That’s why early implementation o?f cyber security solutions, specifically DLP strategies is not just smart—it’s essential. Startups often manage valuable assets like customer records, financial data, and proprietary code that, if compromised, can cause lasting damage.

Cloud-based DLP tools are particularly well-suited for startups. They’re cost-effective, scalable, and integrate easily?? with popular SaaS platforms like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. These tools provide core functions s??uch as data classification, basic monitoring, and automated alerts to detect potential risks early. Since human error remains a leading cause of breaches, regular staff training on data handling and cyber security best practices is crucial. This proactive approach lays a strong foundation for secure, sustainable growth.

Cyber Security Solutions for Growing SMBs

Just like startups, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) face mounting cyber security challenges as they scale. While their infrastructure may not match that of large enterprises, SMBs still handle valuable data, including cu??stomer information, financial records, and operational assets. These factors make them appealing targets for cybercriminals. Limited resources and in-house expertise often l??eave them more exposed to attacks, making it vital to implement effective solutions for cyber security.

Beyond basic antivirus tools, SMBs need solutions that support internal data classification, real-time monitoring, and early threat detection. Endpoint DLP tools are especially useful, offering protection across devices like laptops, phones, and tablets—pa??rticularly important for remote and hybrid work environments.

As operations grow and cross borders, SMBs must also comply with regulations such as ??General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Regular cyber audits, staff training, and response plans h?elp build resilience. With the right DLP tools and security practices, SMBs can safeguard data and operate with greater confidence.

Enterprise-Level Protection

That being said, large corporations are not immune to threats—if anything, their vast infrastructures and digital ecosystems make them prime targets for advanced attacks. As these enterprises grow, the task of protecting sensitive data across cloud environments, on-premise systems, third-party vendors, and mobile endpoints becomes increasingly complex. It’s no surprise that nearly half of all large organizations now deploy three or ?more DLP tools as part of their solutions for cybe??r security.

At this scale, DLP is no longer a standalone solution. It must be tightly integrated into a broader cyber security framework alongside systems like IAM and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM). T??his integrati?on allows for real-time response, policy enforcement, and the detection of insider threats through user behavior analytics.

Enterprises operating globally also face compliance challenges. Therefore, DLP solutions must be customized for re?gional regulations, transforming DLP into a strategic asset that supports trust, compliance, and long-term resilience.

A Secure Business is a Successful Business

Being proactive in cyber security is no longer optional—it’s a cornerstone of sustainable business in today’s digital era. By addressing vulnerabilities before threats emerge, organizations reduce the risk of costly disruptions, data breaches, and reputational harm. Proactive solutions for cyber se??curity safeguard sensitive information, uphold the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of digital assets, and reflect a company’s commitment to responsible data stewardship.

This commitment builds long-term trust?? with customers and partners. When people know their data is protected, they’re more likely to remain engaged and loyal. Anticipating threats also enhances operational resilience and giv?es businesses a competitive edge—transforming cyber security from a reactive measure into a strategic enabler.

At NTQ, we recognize the growing complexity of today’s threat landscape. That’s why we deliver tailored solutions for cyber security, with a focus on Data Loss Prevent??ion (DLP). Our p?ortfolio includes trusted tools like MarkAny DLP and Bitcare DLP, which are used by global leaders such as Samsung, Hyundai, and government bodies in South Korea. At NTQ, delivering great customer experience (CX) is not just about having a strategy or making promises about quality. It’s a real, ongoing journey—one that demands genuine connection, emotional awareness, and timely action at every interaction, from every member of our team.

But in the rush of handling multiple projects, managing tight deadlines, and keeping operations run?ning smoothly, one critical element is often overlooked: how customers actually feel, and whether we are trul??y listening and responding to those feelings in the moments that matter most.

From Strategy to Action Listening to Emotions, Creating Meaningful Experiences

At NTQ, our customer-centric? approach is clearly outlined in the strategic do??cument “NTQ’s Approach to Experience Design built around a central question: “Does this truly bring value to the customer?/span>

Team 12 – Branding x Software Development Center SDC3.BU1, recognized that customer experience is shaped not just by project outcomes, but by a continuous flow of emotions experienced at every touchpoint â€?from initial excitement and anticipation to moments of anxiety, doubt, satisfaction, or trust.

When negative emotions go unnoticed or unanswered, they can quickly lead t??o misunderstandings, weakened connections, and eventually damage long-term relationship?s.

Through extensive research and reflection, the team identified a core in?sight:

“Customer emoti?ons constantly shift b??ut they are rarely heard in time./span>

A Real-Time CX System to Measure, Analyze, and Act on Customer Emotions

To bring NTQ’s “customer-centrics??trategy to life, Team 12 proposed a comprehensive solution tha??t goes beyond evaluating project performance enabling the organization to actively listen to, analyze, and respond to customer emotions in real time.

Alongside traditional operational metrics like cost, timeline, or effort efficiency, the team incorporated key customer experience indicators: CSAT (Customer Satisfaction), CES (Customer Effort Score), NPS (Net Promoter Score??). These metrics are embedded at strategic touchpoints across the project lifecycle from the kickoff stage, through demos and handovers, to post-implementation follow-ups ??allowing for continuous, experience-driven engagement.

The system is designed around a multi-layered model to turn emotional signa?ls into timely, meaningful actions:

  • Quick Surveys: Automated surveys are sent at key points in the customer journey â€?before, during, and after project phases â€?to collect timely and contextual feedback without disrupting the workflow.
  • Channel Integration: Feedback is collected through familiar communication channels already used by customers, such as Google Chat, KakaoTalk, Line, WhatsApp, and email â€?ensuring seamless and consistent engagement.
  • Deeper Feedback with Generative AI: Generative AI makes it easier for customers to leave feedback by auto-suggesting responses based on their input keywords.
  • Sentiment Analysis with AI: AI sentiment analysis is applied to interpret tone, emotion, and intent behind customer responses, identifying early signs of dissatisfaction and surfacing insights that may not be immediately obvious.
  • Structured Emotional Data: Customer feedback is standardized and consolidated into a unified dataset, combining quantitative metrics (like CSAT, CES, NPS) and qualitative insights â€?enabling richer, more holistic analysis.
  • Insight Distribution for Timely Action: Processed emotional data is automatically routed to the right stakeholders â€?such as Account Managers, PMs, and Customer Success teams â€?supporting early risk detection and prompt intervention.
  • Centralized Repository: All feedback and emotional data are stored and organized in a centralized knowledge base for long-term tracking, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Future Expansion: AI-Powered Chatbot: In future iterations, an AI chatbot can serve as a real-time CX assistant â€?directly engaging with customers, sensing emotional changes, answering FAQs, and triggering alerts when concerns arise.

This system empowers NTQ to:

  • Proactively detect and manage customer sentiment shifts
  • Strengthen partnerships through timely, empathetic engagement
  • Fully integrate CX into daily operations, turning customer emotion into a measurable and meaningful performance metric

A Small Step Forward, A Big Shift in the Customer Journey

To bring this initiativ??e to life, Team 12 went beyond technology. They explored user behavior and service culture the human elements that truly define the connection between NTQ and its clients.

What makes this solution stand out is not just its use of advanced AI, but its thoughtful and practical approach: transforming emotional measurement into timely, meaningful, and actionable insights. Through this shift, NTQ’s ??customers are no longer just recipients of service they become “Movers, activel?y engaging with NTQ and co-creating lasting value.

This is the spiri?t that defines the Innovation Arena 2025 at NTQ: where empathy meets innovation, and where every idea has the potential to become a real solution shaping the future of how we operate, serve, and grow in the digital age.

At NTQ, innovation isn’t reserved for special projects or one-off moments it’s embedded in how we think, build, and grow every day. The Innovation Arena 2025 brought this mindset to life, giving teams the space to turn bold ideas into real solutions that drive impact.

The Innovation Arena 2025 was designed to bring that mindset to life a platform where internal teams across NTQ could pitch, prototype, and present forward-th?inking ideas with real-world potential. It wasn’t just about creativity it was about tu?rning ideas into scalable solutions that move the company forward.

And leading this year’s competition was Team 7 IT & TCO, whose p?ractical and well-executed idea didn’t just impress the judges, but earned recognition from peers across the company for its relevance, efficiency, and future scalability.

Excited members of Team 7 eagerly awaiting their turn to share their innovative idea.

Team 7 set out to address a challenge that IT departments across the industry constantly face the overwhelming volume of repetitive IT support requests. Each day, support teams deal with dozens of identical queries: access issues, VPN setups, resource requests, password resets. While individually minor, these t??asks collectively consume a significant portion ??of the IT team’s time and bandwidth.

But the real cost goes deeper than just inter?nal worklo?ads.

Team 7 members enthusiastically presenting their project at the event.

For employees, this process often results in delays, confusing steps, and long wait times for help a friction point that interrupts focus, del?ays project timelines, and hinders overall productivity across departments.

Illustration of Team 7 presenting a key challenge frequently encountered by organizational IT teams.

But instead of viewing this as a limitation, ??Team 7 saw an opportunity to reinvent the entire support experience for both employees and IT professionals using AI.

Team 7 presents an innovative solution designed to address the identified IT challenge.

Their AI-powered IT HelpDesk Assistant isn’t just a technical upgrade. It’s a shift in how support is delivered and experienced: faster, smarter, and more intuitive. By integrating ?automation, live chat, and a centralized knowledge base, the system empowers employees to get the help they need in real time without waiting in queues or jumping through multiple touchpoints.

The solution is expected to significantly impact operations across the entire company.

This AI-driven so??lutio??n delivers real impact on multiple levels:

  • For employees: faster access to support, less time loss, and smoother workdays.
  • For IT teams: reduced manual workload and more time for strategic initiatives.
  • For the company: improved operational efficiency, security, and a better employee experience overall.

It doesn’t stop at a mere solution â€?it’s a scalable framework for smarter internal operations.

During the live demo, Team 7 showcased a fully functional prototype of thei??r AI HelpDesk Assistant. Users could submit a request directly through Googl??e Chat, which would instantly trigger ticket creation, retrieve helpful information, and guide the user through next steps all within seconds.

Image of Team 7 delivering a live demo that highlights their standout approach compared to other teams.

The interface was fast, smooth, and impressively human-like. What stood out most wasn’t just the technology â€?but how seamlessly it fits into users’ daily workflows. No switching platforms. No forms. Just instant support, where and when it’s needed.

This project reflects exactly how innovation works at NTQ where we don’t just solve problems, we continually challenge ??ourselves to build better systems, better tools, and better experiences.

And Team 7’s win is just the first spotlight in this year’s In?novation Arena series.

Stay tuned for more bold??, real-world ideas f?rom the brilliant teams across NTQ where innovation doesn’t just happen. It’s how we work.

Over the past year, the Vietnamese government has actively expanded and updated new policies to strengthen the national economy through redefining various initiatives. Recently, the official issuance of Resolution 68 has embarked on a breakthrough shift in the position of the private sector, from being an important part to becoming a key driver of the national economy. The effect of Resolution 68 signifies the government’s new direction towards an economy driven by fairness, accelerated procedures for entry and access to resources, and elimination of legal barriers that prevent business growth.

This critical milestone opens a bright opportunity for private domestic and FDI enterprises to further enhance their bu?siness in Vietnam, contributing to leveraging the national economy’s attractiveness and deep integration into the global supply chain. Resolution 68 lays the foundation for Vietnam to become a leading innovation hub in the region with ?a focus on innovation, technology, and digital transformation.

The resolution fosters a dynamic and competitive private sector, encouraging collaboration between domestic and foreign enterprises, facilitating technology transfer, and capacity building. This collaborative environment not only enhances the competitiveness of individual companies but also strengthens Vietnam’s position in the global market.

Overview of Resolution 68

Overview description of Resolution 68

After more than 40 years of implementing economic reforms, the private sector has steadily grown and become a crucial driver in Vietnam’s modern economy. However, there are still many barriers that hinder or complicate the development of the private sector. As a result, Resolution 68 is expected to provide a new stepping stone for the private sector to break through and be given more opportunities to play a more significant role in the national economic development strategy.

The resolution emphasizes the goal of making the private sector “the most important driving force in the economy, a pioneering force to promote growth, create jobs, increase labor productivity, national competitiveness, industrialization, and modernization.” Accordingly, the resolution outlines specific visions, including:

  • By 2030, the average growth rate of the private sector is expected to reach around 10-12% per year, higher than the overall economic growth rate, with labor productivity increasing by about 8.5-9.5% per year. Among these, more than 20 large enterprises will join the global supply chain.
  • By 2045, the private sector is expected to contribute over 60% of GDP, actively participate in the global supply chain, and have high competitiveness in the international market.

A new dawn for digital innovation sectors

New Dawn for Digital Innovation Sectors

The focus of Resolution 68 includes promoting the private sector’s involvement in innovation, digital transformation, and the development of science and technology. This demonstrates Vietnam’s strong determination to shape its economic development towards modernization, enhancing its position and role in the global innovation process. With the vision of becoming one of the top 5 countries in terms of technological capacity and innovation, the resolution outlines specific policies for this sector, including:

  • Establishing a regulatory sandbox framework for new technologies, creating a favorable environment for private enterprises to engage in research and the application of artificial intelligence, blockchain, big data, e-commerce, fintech, smart healthcare, and more.
  • Providing easier access to resources for research and development in digital transformation and green growth sectors. Additionally, startups or venture capital funds supporting innovation and technology development will benefit from special tax exemptions and reductions.
  • Strengthening connections between private enterprises, private enterprises with state-owned enterprises, and FDI companies through strategies to build business linkages within industry clusters and value chains, supporting technology transfer.
  • Prioritizing resources to support the development of innovation centers for incubation, research, testing, development, and technology transfer, assisting businesses involved in innovation and startups.

A promising digital hub for global enterprises

As Vietnam honors President HChí Minh’s lasting legacy and commemorates its scientific achievements this May, it is also a time to revisit the foundations that have shaped the nation’s identity, particularly in the context of today’s sweeping digital transformation. One powerful example lies in a remarkable private archive of over 400,000 newspapers and magazines, each preserving a vital piece of Vietnam’s historical and cultural journey.

Recognizing the immense social va?lue of this archive, NTQ has joined hands with record-holder Nguyễn Phi Dũng to bring the collection into the digital age. This collaboration reflects more than innovation it represents a commitment to community, education, and cultural continuity, ensuring that Vietnam’s press legacy is not only preserved but also brought closer to future generations.

NTQ’s AI specialists pictured with a selection from Mr. Dũng’s extensive newspaper archive.

A National Archive in Print: The Unprecedented Collection

At the heart of this endeavor is Mr. Nguyễn Phi Dũng, a dedicated Vietnamese record-holder who has spent nearly a decade building what is now recognized as the largest private newspaper archive in the country. His extraordinary collection spans more than 23 tonnes of articles, covering periods from the 19th century to the present da??y—a feat unparalleled in scale and historical depth (Nhân Dân, 2024).

The archive contains rare and invaluable editions, including newspapers printed during the resistance wars, the ea??rly days of national independence, and critical moments of political and economic transformation. These are not just pieces of paper, they are tangible imprints of Vietnam’s ??collective memory. From bold headlines announcing national reunification to quiet stories chronicling shifts in daily life, each edition offers a window into the hopes, struggles, and spirit of the times.

More Than Information: A Cultural Legacy for Future Generations

In an interview, record holder Mr. DÅ©ng shared “I’ve always believed that each newspaper is a witness to history, capturing the events and social context of its time with authenticity. That’s why I want to preserve them in the best possible way, so that future generations can access this valuable source of knowledge in its most complete form.â€?/span>

One of the rarest pieces in Mr. Dũng collection.

To him, newspapers are more than just carriers of information. They are cultural witnesses echoes of a time, a place, and a people. Through them, we hear the voice of a nation in struggle and triumph. They tell the story not just of politics and events, but of aspirations, fears, and hopes of entire generations. By preserving and s??haring these materials, we keep the past alive and provide future generations a deeper understanding of their roots and the values that have shaped Vietnam through turbulent and trium?phant times.

A Dream in the Making: Digitizing the Archive for All

Yet even such a vast and meaningful collection is vulnerable to time, to decay, to the limitations of physical access. That’s why Mr. Dũng has? set out to realize another dream: digitizing the entire archive. His motivation stems from a desire to make this national memory more accessible, esp??ecially for young people, researchers, and all those who may never touch a century-old newspaper but can discover its story with a few clicks.

NTQ’s team carefully reviewing historical newspaper editions.

Digitization is more than convenience. It is protection against loss, a way to preserve delicate materials, and a means to ex??pand access to historical content far beyond a physical location. Once digitized, these materials can be indexed, searched, studied, and shared sparking conversations, ?academic insights, and cultural appreciation on a much wider scale.

This mission goes beyond individual interest it reflects a broader sense of social responsibility: making cult?ural knowledge available to the community, enriching education, and ensuring that the wisdom of the past continues to inform and inspire future generations.

NTQ visits Mr. Dũng’s storage space, where he keeps over 23 tonnes of newspapers.

The Partnership with NTQ: A Digital Path Forward

Turning vision into reality takes more than determination—it requires the right techno?logy, precision, and scale. That’s where NTQ stepped in. Recognizing the cultural and social significan??ce of the project, Mr. Dũng partnered with NTQ to begin digitizing the collection.

After multiple on-site visits, the team concluded that this was an unprecedented undertaking in Vietnam. The digitization process had to meet three critical criteria: faithfully preserving the original newspaper dimensio??ns during scanning, converting all content into searchable ??text, and ensuring secure, long-term digital storage (Nhân Dân, 2024).

What made this project particularly challeng?ing was the fragile condition of many old newspapers. Unlike many previous digitization projects that dealt with more stable d??ocuments, this initiative demanded a highly delicate and non-invasive solution. Merely digitizing was not enough preserving the integrity of each page was essential.

Mr. DÅ©ng with NTQ’s team discussing on the matter of digitzing his collection.

To meet these goals, NTQ developed a custom software solution powered by AI. The system enhances and restores degraded pages through automatic color correction, noise reduction, and repair of torn or stained areas, preserving the original look and feel of each newspaper. The custom-built AI software intellige??ntly detects page edges, crops unnecessary margins, and straightens images to? ensure optimal readability.

NTQ developed custom software solution for this project

More?? than just image enhancement, the system excels at Optical Character Recognition (OCR), accurately transcribing even faded or stylized fonts into searchable text. Auto-generated metadata—including headlines, topics, dates, and locations—makes navigating the archive intuitive and efficient. Users can instantly search keywords and ??jump directly to relevant pages, opening new doors for researchers, educators, and history enthusiasts.

Recognizing the sensitive nature of some historical content, the platform includes safeguards that automatically flag potentially sensitive or politically delicate materials for human review prior to public acce??ss. Accessibility is further enhanced with user-friendly interfaces and text-to-speech features, making this cultural treasure accessible to diverse audiences, including those with visual impairments.

To date, the team has successfully digitized a large number of newspapers—meticulously processed, indexed, and secured for long-term digital ?preservation.

Technology with Heart: A Legacy Preserved, A Future Inspired

What truly s?ets this project apart is the heartfelt dedication behind it. Mr. Nguyễn Phi Dũng’s painstaking care in preserving every newspaper, combined with NTQ’s commitment to meaningful technology, elevates this initiative beyond mere digitization—it becomes a living tribute to Vietnam’s resilience?, identity, and collective memory.

This endeavor e?mbodies the belief that technology is most powerful when it serves humanity—preserving cultural heritage, enriching education, and making knowledge inclusive and enduring. Through this partnership, NTQ is not just creating a?? digital archive, it is building a bridge that connects generations past and future.

By unlocking access to Vietnam’s press history, this project inspires curiosity, fosters understanding, and fuels creative expression—from academ??ic research to film, theater, and digital arts. It ensures that the stories, struggles, and triumphs embedded in ??these newspapers continue to resonate, inform, and inspire for years to come.

Through this partnership, N?TQ helps build a cultural bridge that connects past and present, maki??ng knowledge more inclusive, accessible, and enduring.

After years of the nation recovering & building post-reunification, Vietnam began the era of modernization through establishing the “Doi moireform in 1986, marking an important baseline in the process of liberating the nation’s economy and policy landscape. This milestone significantly accelerated connecting Vietnam to the world, creating a favorable environment for high-value & innovative sectors, including the ICT Industry, to be introduced!

The introduction of the Internet & mobile connection in the 1990s was one of the critical factors contributing to the emergence of the ICT Industry in Vietnam. From a difficult beginning with nearly zero contribution & resources, ICT has been considered as one of the fastest-growing sectors, contributing a significant role in the modern economic landscape in Vietnam after more than 2 decades. With new technologies and government responses, the ICT sector has reshaped almost every aspect of daily life & industries, contributing to leveraging Vietnam’s position in the global economic landscape.

As a Vietnamese IT Company, NTQ is proud to be a part of this journey, which is even more special on the occasion of commemorating the 50th anniversary of Reunification. The Vietnamese people’s spirit of unity, collective effort, and relentless creativity over the past five decades has helped Vietnam overcome numerous adversities, rise strong, and become a dynamic and sustainable economy.

On this special occasion, let’s take a moment to reflect on Vietnam ICT Industry development, and a special gratitude to all Vietnamese enterpris??es, individuals & tech-driven community for driving this inspiring journey!

A Growth in Contribution

In the early years of integration, the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector was considered a relatively small industry (secondary) in Vietnam, falling behind other sectors like oil and gas, agriculture, commerce, and construction. Limited resources and infrastructure meant that by the late 1990s and early 2000s, the sector’s contribution to the national economy was still quite small, playing a minimal role in the overall economic structure.

However, with significant investments in infrastructure, a focus on fostering innovation, and the overall growth of the national economy, Vietnam’s technology sector has risen and made tremendous strides, becoming a key force in today’s era. From a modest contribution, the ICT sector has consistently accounted for 12-14% of the GDP in recent years, becoming a vital driver of the economy. Looking ahead, the governmen?t aims to positi??on the digital economy as a core sector, with plans to boost infrastructure investment and technological development, targeting a GDP contribution of 30% by 2030.

Expansion of Talent Hub

In the early years of development, technological resources were limited, and the number of students pursuing IT-related fields was not widespread. At that time, the tot??al number of professionals in the sector was modest, and the number of t??echnology companies was only in the three-digit range.

After 20 years, Vietnam’s IT sector has seen a significant surge in resources and the number of companies participating in the market, with impressive statistics. Over 1.5 million professionals and more than 73,000 technology companies. These numbers reflect how the scale of Vietnam’s technology market has expanded multiple times over just two decades of growth. Not only in terms of quantity but also in quality, the talent in Vietnam’s IT sector has been recognized in numerous prestigious rankings and statistics.

As Vietnam actively implements development cooperation programs and nurtures technology talent, particularly in high-tech fields like semiconductors and AI, the country’s IT workforce is expected to continue growing, not only in ??terms of numbers but also in diversity and specialization.

From a limited presence, where the sector could only handle b??asic outsourci??ng tasks, Vietnam’s technology industry quickly integrated with the global market, becoming an indispensable link in the global value chain.

By 2024, the number of companies generatin??g revenue fro?m international markets has surpassed 1,500, with a total revenue of over 170 billion USD in 2023 alone. The presence of Vietnamese businesses has expanded beyond partnerships with countries like Korea and Japan to include demanding markets in Europe, the US, and Australia. Vietnamese companies are now more proactive in seeking opportunities for expansion, building international networks, and establishing branches in local markets.

The strong rise of Vietnam’s technology sector on the global stage is clear evidence that Vietnamese solutions, ideas, and intelligence have delivered substantial value, playing a key role in the global supply chain. Vietnamese businesses have been active in showcasing high-quality “Made in Vietnamâ€?products and services, becoming strategic partners to leading global corporations and organizations over the years.

And A Deep Gratitude!

Behind the achievements, milestones, and proud journey of Vietnam’s technology sector, we must acknowledge the continuous contributions of businesses, individuals, communities, and forums, constantly dedicated, striving, and innovating together to build a dynamic digital economy that is globally connected. We believe that collaboration and unity will provide the strength to continue writing the next chapters of growth for Vietnam’s technology and economy in the future.
